Movie plot
In "Flight 1979", Doug White (Dennis Quaid) is in for the ride of his life when the pilot of his family's private plane unexpectedly dies mid-flight. With his wife and children onboard, Doug is left with the daunting task of landing the plane safely and saving his loved ones from imminent danger.As the plane hurtles towards the ground, Doug must remain calm and focused in the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles. With the help of air traffic control and a skilled co-pilot, he navigates the plane through turbulent weather and technical difficulties, all while trying to keep his family calm and reassured. After their pilot dies unexpectedly mid-flight, Doug White's (Dennis Quaid) has to safely land a plane and save his entire family from insurmountable danger.
