For fans of Elves on the bookshelf, this book explains that Santa needs help knowing all the gifts every child will want because every child is unique. The reindeer explains that he should come a month before Christmas and stay close to the child to learn all about them and will let Santa know every night while the child is sleeping. The reindeer will then leave with Santa to help pull the sleigh. I finally did, the reindeer said the child just had to ask and he could come back on special occasions, Final Verdict: I love that reindeer have to be carried around and loved. The book itself is more of a collection of instructions explaining the operation than a true story. I like the emphasis that children are unique and special, which is why the reindeer have to help Santa know what they want. If your family likes Elves on the shelf this is a very similar idea. Blizzard, a young reindeer living at the North Pole, and his unique group of friends band together to save the future of Christmas, creating a magical holiday tradition in the process.
