Before Cassian Andor helped really deliver the Death Star plans to the Tantive IV, the rebel spy mostly had plenty of missions in the fight against the Empire. Set in the formative years of the Rebellion – which would prove pivotal to the downfall of the Empire decades later – Andor tells the titular character’s story. Andor Season 1 takes place five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The show was created by Rogue One co-writer Tony Gilroy and sees Diego Luna return to the franchise in the leading role in a subtle way.
