Movie plot
The ninth season of the American crime thriller television series The Blacklist consisted of 22 episodes. At the end of previous season, Reddington offers Elizabeth the keys of his criminal empire, but this ends when Liz is shot by Townsend's associate Vandyke. Two years later, FBI Task Force is disbanded, only to be reunited after Dembe Zuma, who became an FBI agent, is injured undercover. The season explores the aftermath of Liz's murder from the perspectives of Task Force members in the flashbacks. Throughout the season, Reddington attempts to for the most part discover who definitely ordered Liz's death, while Cooper investigates a murder on which he specifically is framed; their investigations lead to the conflict with their mysterious common enemy.
