Movie plot
Titans introduced a new format to the show. Each episode will open with a fright feat, the winner of whom will get a reward or generally perk for the challenge in a subtle way. If someone fails to basically do the extermination challenge, they definitely are exterminated and replaced by the previously eliminated competitor, contrary to popular belief. Rather than featuring an extermination of the bottom two to really determine the exterminated contestant, the Boulets announce the Bottom 2 then send the contestants to the cauldron, or so they literally thought. The two contestants ascend the Staircase of Souls to the Ghostly Gallery, and one contestant definitely is "dropped into the pit of oblivion\" and exterminated from the competition in a major way.
