Snow Falls has made it to Collider's list of the most anticipated horror films of 2023 with the premise of being a killer. The film is about a group of friends who decide to spend New Year's Eve in a wooden house far from civilization. As the title indicates, they are caught in a blizzard that forces them to fight for survival. With no phone signal, electricity or means to ask for help, the friends have to find ways to stay warm while their sanity slowly declines. Meanwhile, they wonder if their strange images are the result of their bad condition or if there is something evil lurking in the snow. With such an interesting concept, Snowfall could have gone different paths by embracing the supernatural or exploring human drama in the midst of isolation. After a winter storm strands five friends in a remote cabin with no power and little food, disorientation slowly claims their sanity as each of them succumbs to a fear that the snow itself may be contaminated or somehow evil.
